Tapping the Source

Next Training Dates: TBD

Whether you aspire to teach yoga, deepen your personal practice or transform your life completely, yoga teacher training offers a uniquely powerful combination of inner and outer work that will serve as a catalyst to help you achieve your goals and discover all that you’re capable of.

As a hybrid program, this training will consist of two weeks in person at the amazing Suryalila in southern Spain, followed by a series of virtual classes and discussions to reinforce the work we do in person and help you integrate your practice into the course of your daily life.

Though we will cover a wide range of information and explore a variety of practices, the goal of this training is simple: To help you realize your potential.

Whether you already teach yoga, aspire to teach, or simply wish to deepen your personal practice, this training will equip you with the tools, knowledge and resources to help you achieve all that you’re capable of—both on and off the mat.

Beginning with the basics of yoga’s history and philosophy, we will journey together through time to explore yoga’s evolution from its earliest known origins to its current form, making stops along the way to investigate a variety of Hatha practices, including Iyengar, Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative, Yin and Nidra. We will also dig into some of yoga’s most influential texts, including The Vedas, The Yoga Sutras, The Hatha Yoga Pradipika and The Bhagavad Gita. From there we’ll take all we’ve learned and cross-check it against modern science, as well as various movement and meditation practices to try to gain a clearer understanding of what it means to cultivate a functional yoga practice that serves your individual needs and benefits all aspects of your life.

This training is designed to challenge and inspire you—mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. If you’re ready to take a deeper dive into the wonders of yoga and discover how powerfully transformative a truly functional practice can be, I hope you will join me for this uniquely enriching experience of yogic exploration.

And just a little further away is the famous southern coast of Spain, where we will have the option to spend one of our days off on the white sandy beaches of Cádiz.

With a variety of beautifully decorated housing options, three stunning yoga shalas, a salt water pool, an eco sauna, an in-house café, an organic farm, several lounge areas and a meditation garden, as well as a kitchen that serves fresh, homemade vegetarian cuisine, it is no exaggeration to say that when yoga teachers dream of the ideal place to lead a Teacher Training, they dream of Suryalila.
