Warm, turquoise waters. Charming old-world towns. An abundance of homegrown, homemade Italian cuisine, and plenty of time to practice and uplug — what’s not to love?
Our base for this retreat will be the amazing Yoga in Salento, one of the world’s most sought after retreat centers. A beautiful Italian villa situated in the midst of a thriving organic farm, it is an enchanting oasis of wellness and rejuvenation. And with the long days of mid-summer, will have plenty of time to enjoy the many natural wonders in the area.
My intention for this retreat is simple: Practice & Relax
Unlike most of my other retreats, I won't be organizing any excursions or group activities. There are plenty of stunning beaches and interesting sights to in the area, and you are welcome to explore them to your heart's content if you like (there are taxis or you can rent a car). What I will be offering is a healthy dose of yoga, moral support and general good humor :)
We will have a long practice each morning (between 2-2.5 hours), as well as 4 late afternoon practices/workshops throughout the week (roughly 90 mins each). If that sounds like a lot of yoga to you, don't worry. There will be a balance of power & restorative practices, as well as meditation and yogic philosophy discussions. And if you need to rest or would rather do something else, you're always welcome to sit out any of the sessions. It's not boot camp, after all. But I will definitely be offering an opportunity to take your practice to new heights if that is what you want.

ADDITIONAL INFO:
For those flying in, the closest airport is Brindisi (BDS). Transfers range in cost from €75 for one person to €25/person for up to 4 people. Yoga in Salento is happy to help pair you up with other travelers if you would like. You can also fly into Bari (BRI) or take the train to Lecce. If you're interested in either of those options, just let me know and I can send you the prices for transfers.
